    Stena Bulk invests in more IMOIIMAX tankers [Oct 2015] Stena Bulk has placed an order for three 50,000 dwt IMOIIMAX MR tankers with the Chinese shipyard CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering (CSSC OME*) in Guangzhou. It has also taken out an option on a further two vessels. The total value of the order is USD 200 million. The first delivery is planned for the end of 2017 after which the vessels will be delivered at 3-monthly intervals.

Orders 'Eco Design' Vessels to HMD [Sep 2015] d’Amico, an international marine transportation company operating in the product tanker market,announces that its operating subsidiary d’Amico Tankers Limited - Ireland entered into an agreement for the construction and sale of two new Long Range (LR1 - 75,000 DWT) modern product tanker vessels with Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd.
    Petredec, announced that it has further expanded its fleet with the addition of two Panamax VLGC’s. [Sep 2015] Petredec has signed a contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries for the construction of two 78,700 cbm LPG carriers with the option to build a further two. The vessels will be built to Petredec’s usual high specification and will be amongst some of the most economical VLGC’s in the global fleet.
    Solvang ASA, New building orders and timecharter contracts [Sep 2015] Solvang ASA and partners have signed a contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, for the construction of two 78.700 cbm LPG carriers.     Hapag-Lloyd orders five new container ships to Hyundai Samho Heavy [Apr 2015] Hapag-Lloyd today ordered five container vessels with a capacity of 10,500 standard containers (TEU) each from the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
