    Star Cruises places Contract for further Cruise Vessel [Feb 2014] STAR CRUISES, the leading cruise company in Asia, has placed another contract with German shipbuilder MEYER WERFT for a new cruise ship. The Panamax duo, with the price tag of approx. $60 million, follows Wisdom’s recent decision to buy two 38,000 DWT and three 63,000 DWT bulkers from the same yard.
    [Jan 2014]: Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc has signed up for six stainless steel chemical tankers in Japan. Navig8, a joint venture between the Navig8 Group and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, has booked the 25,000dwt vessels at Kitanihon Shipbuilding.     [Jan 2014]: New Patrol Boats for SEA Taiwanese boat builder Lung Teh Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (LTS) has recently won the contract to deliver a series of patrol boats to an unspecified government in South East Asia. The first boat in the series will be delivered early 2015.
